Description

Job Summary:  
Delivery of quality patient care under Physician supervision.
Requirements:

  • Graduate of approved School of Nursing.
  • Registered as a Mid-level Practitioner (NP, PA, etc.), current Arkansas License, DEA, CPR certification (ACLS preferred).
  • Minimum of 5 years acute care nursing and 1 year as Mid-level Practitioner, or; 3 years as a Mid-level Practitioner
  • Effective communication in English, additional languages preferred.
  • Basic computer knowledge.

Responsibilities/Duties:

  • Comprehensive patient history and physical assessments for all age/sex classifications.
  • Diagnose disease and administer suitable treatment.
  • Collaborate with Physician when necessary and know person limits.
  • Order, perform and interpret laboratory and x-ray procedures as needed.
  • Utilize Clinical Assistants and Medical Assistant skills efficiently.
  • Develops relationships with patients, families, and clinic staff.
  • Works well with clinic staff, including Physician.
  • Participate in staff meetings to address and solve clinic issues.
  • Documents assessment, treatment plans, and charges clearly and promptly.
  • Provide or delegate patient teaching as required.
  • Reviews and recommend revisions for clinic policies, procedures and standards.
  • Maintains a cooperative attitude to ensure a positive working environment.
  • Assist Physician with chart completion and adhere to established policies and safety standards.
  • Performs all other duties as assigned.
